Past and Present

I maintain that it doesn't get much better than cruising on a summer night with the windows down while blasting The Postal Service. Turns out it's even better when there's a cool ocean breeze rolling in off the Atlantic. I sure wish Ben Gibbard would hook up with Jimmy Tamborello again and give us more. For now I'll make do with the absolute bliss of the past.

As far as something that is new, I've been really into the Remix Artist Collective (RAC) recently. RAC is a group of three guys who together produce amazing reinterpretations of indie songs. These are not your typical remixes with club beats that overpower the original work, but entirely new productions in themselves. They dropped a mix of a Noah And The Whale song the other day, and it definitely polishes up the song, which was originally produced in NATW's simplistic style.
